From UT take Door to Reyonlds Road, take that south to the turnpike, take the turnpike to Sandusky. It's about an hour depending on traffic. Cedar Point is the ONLY thing I miss about toledo!
No, take Douglas on the east side entrance to campus (past the REC before the College of Engineering) south which evenually turns into Westwood Ave (just as if you were going to class at Scott Park Campus) to Airport Highway (SR 2). Take a left (east) and follow that all the way till you hit Sandusky. Just think, only "one turn" from UT and your at cp, thats awesome...never thought about it that way. Prolly about a hour to a hour and fifteen directly from campus, depends on traffic in downtown Toledo.
Route 2 is more entertaining to drive in my opinion and besides, like they say, getting there is half the fun. *** Edited 3/28/2006 6:06:58 AM UTC by ejh1701***

While I prefer Route 2 for the entertainment value, if you want the quickest way take the turnpike! Route 2 is a two lane highway, and if you get behind someone who is slow life is miserable! The turnpike is a much better route!
On the rare times I've gonee to the park from the West I've only done Rt2 once. All of the other times I've taken the Turnpike.
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
