DRINKS IN LINE???

My girlfriend and I have visited the park about ten times this year. We have a set path that we usually follow. We always get the free water in the small cups at the pretzel stand next to maggie entrance. We always have it gone by the time we get up to the station and pitch the cup in the trash can there. This time the height checked says "Stop, no drinks in line". So i said ok and pointed to the trash can ten feet within the maggie line. The girl says "I said no drinks in line". So she points to a trash can next to her in which we put the glass of water. My question is then. Why is there nine trash cans in line for the ride, and why is it that you can purchase drinks in line. It just made me mad and frustrated that i cannot drink my water and throw it out in one of the many trash cans in line for Magnum. But that you can buy a drink halfway throught the line.

But who knows, maybe it's a difference in opinion on who's working at the ride entrance.
