I created this thread several months ago, and got several interesting responses. Since then, 100s of new pointbuzzers have joined the field. Therefor, I'd like to pose this question again.
What would be your dream job at Cedar Point?
Honestly, I would love to dress up in the snoopy outfit. Call me weird, but I love seeing children smiling. I think it's the innocence in their eyes.

I'm too sexy for my harness!
I would love to be the maintenance guy who walks the track of roller coasters and inspects them every morning. Also, one time I saw two of them fixing one of the four gondolas on Power Tower, and they had to climb all the way to the top, and then stand on it as it slowly descended the tower. That would be incredible!

I have always told my wife my dream job at Cedar Point would be one of the people who wlaks around and sweeps up the trash. Not a real pressure job, no real risk of injuring yourself or a guest. But you get to walk around see the park help people see all the people having fun. That is my DREAM JOB!!

^ actually, from what I hear, the costumes have built in fans.
I've done costumed character's before for different places, and those fans are not that helpful. Those suits are very warm, even with the fan, you sweat buckets in there.
Now, the upside is of course the cold days. ;)
Looking forward to Cedar Point- July 4th-5th, 2007!
I'm an electrician, who specializes in programming PLC's (SLC and PLC5), at one of Denmark's largest breweries. It was extremely hard to see this available year-round job at Cedar Point: http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/jobs/descriptions/year_round.cfm
That would definatley be my dream job. Definately.

I would definitely love to be a part of the design team, to help figure out what to change within the park, what new attractions to bring in, etc.
Of course, it would also be fun to operate any of the rides that have a launch. There's just something about having that kind of power that is appealing. Push one button and send people flying. *insert devlisih laugh*
I was one of the costumed characters for CP several years ago. No, the costumes do not have fans. Neither did the bear costumes before them. They did used to have vests with pockets for ice packs, though. Either way, if I could afford not having a real job, I'd do it again. It was the most fun job I ever had.
