Though I'm not sure they'll ever hit 2 million in a season, it is good to know that TTD has increased it's ridership every year since it opened. Not to say that I want to wait in line, quite the opposite. The increased ridership obviously means it has been running better, more consistantly and the crews are doing a great job too.

It's somewhat amusing and depressing that, in line, there is a sign that says Dragster would give 2 million rides in it's inagural season.

^^Yup I was going to say that, didn't only get around 500,000...
Also those signs need replaced there color is fading, also I notice two weekends ago while in line that the last speaker by the ramp is broken, has this been the case for most of the year?

It does say "estimated". But when the sign was made I guess it wasn't estimated that the ride couldn't run 6 trains that could all move together, and the launch system would tear itself apart one month after it opened.

Does anyone know what their surprise was?
I believe they got some sort of a shopping spree over at the Speed Zone gift shop.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Congrats to those guys. Jen sure did a great job, and of course the crew. I wish we were that good when I worked Dragster.

I was in line when this happended and was getting a little impatient waiting to ride TTD for the first time.
Overall I was a little let down by TTD. It is such a short ride that I honestly remember very litle about the ride.
For my first time I didn't know what to think. It was too quick to process. My second through fifteenth rides were great and I loved the rush. Now it's just okay. Doesn't quite deliver what it used to.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Dragster is a lot of fun, even after she's worn on you for awhile.
Congratulations to maintenance and her crew for the '07 season. 1 million riders is a great milestone that will (hopefully) be built upon even more next year. Here's hoping for 1.5 million within a couple of years. :)
a bit of dragster trivia for you all.....if ttd were to hit intervals 100% of the time with a full train each time operating 100% of this years operating schedule, the rider capacity would be 1,956,283.2 riders. This figure does not inclue early entry. If you're interested on how I came to that figure, let me know.
I'm too sexy for my harness!
