Dragster speedomoter gone

Whoa hold on, I wasn't trying to pwn anyone Ashley....just so you know. Just reiterating what I've been told. Upsidedown obviously knows a good deal more about Dragster than I do. I can admit that.

I just read a news article, apparently due to the downturn in the economy the speedometer is being replaced in order to save power. It will be replaced by a hand-painted sign that says, "right now you're going really fast."

Sorry to bring back an old topic, but when was the last time the speedometer actually worked?

I was wondering the same thing when I passed by it (still not working) today. I seem to recall it working at the beginning of last season, but I may be imagining that...

This just in: They are moving the "Speed Radar Device" from TTD to Cedar Point Rd. about 1 mile east of CP parking lot per law enforcement request. "Your Speed is[ mph]".
