Dragster is Open

Well. I only hope that they don't wait until after they open to turn this puppy on. I want a rollback. (as long as it doesn't break anything)
From Carsten 16's away message:

I am going to ride top thrill dragster so be back at 10:30PM

Sounds like it's open!

Just got home from the park. Rode TTD about 6 pm. They were running really good once they started to be open after a slight delay at about 1230. I saw Monty Jasper and Dick Kinzel in the station during that time. The ride broke down at 9 pm. tonight and never reopened to at least 1015 pm. That is when I left and what I can tell you.

Dang, didn't you see Jasper and Keller just a few weeks ago?

Yea, but can you really be sure it was them?
And if it was, I have them from earlier in the day too.

Got back a little bit ago. Dragster was up and down periodically, but when they do have it open, the capacity is very good. I waited only 45 minutes for my second ride.
Dragster broke down a little past 9:00pm which was right before I got in line. With a constant amount of people leaving the line, it looked like we were making our way up to the station like normal. It broke down, then sent a train full of people, but then stayed down for the rest of the night. The good part of this story is that they gave all of the people standing in line front of the line passes for any ride but Dragster, and another for Top Thrill Dragster. :)

I now have two of each...I wonder what the employees as well as the guests would think about me riding Dragster 2 times in a row, skipping the line each time in the middle of summer when there is a 3 hour wait. hehehe

I was there today and the ride was on and off all day today until the final hours when it closed down again. I don't know if it is going to be closed down tomorrow, but they said it wouldn't open for the rest of the night though we had a few hours left in the day. They had five trains running, the only one that wasn't on the track was the orange train that was lined up with all those water torsoes.

But the ride was launching steadily and breaking down an average of every hour for about twenty-forty minutes each.

Yes I did, and to respond to TTD CP, yes I'm sure it was them I even saw their name tags that had their name, plus I know what they looked like. :)

I just got back from CP and the Yellow train was tested on Fri. It was on the transfer track on Sat. though. TTD opened about 11:45 on Sat., tested, broke when the first people got on and were ready to launch. I was waiting for the front car when this happened, as I was waiting by the entrance if they did open it, well they did, but broke. Came back up an hour later and was open untill 9:00 when I was at the station. The first time they got it up and running Mr. Kinzel and all the other top guys where there.

It looks as if they are trying to get it running again. There are ride ops all over the platform.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem is now?

Looks like the ride ops may have disappeared again? 4:41 p.m.
Look at the long line.
Have they even been testing? it appears the same train has been sitting behind the station for at least 20 minutes?
I hate to say it, but it looks like it's back to it's "normal" operating schedule. Anybody who's been there on a normal day would agree with me that TTD doesn't really run constistantly ever. It will run good for a while, but then break down for a bit, but then be up, and then break down again. This year, it seems completely normal.

How long do people stand in line before they just leave and go ride other stuff? Seems like the front people would have been there all day
It appears that the line may be beginning to shorten up again, that cant be good.
I was just in that line for the past hour, but I had to leave for work. :( Hopefully it goes back up some time this evening.

Well when I was there on Friday the 13th, and they began testing dragster, my friend and I waited for an hour and a half before we left and rode other rides. The only reason I actually waited that long was because we were the first ones in line. If we weren't at the head of that line we would have left sooner.
If you only had some kind of GTTP beeper or paiger...;)
