I am so glad I live in Florida.

This is a good time for the "why don't they do a Christmas Event" thread to start popping up again. Just an inch or two of snow plus some light winds make the Point a miserable place to be on a winter day.

It is a great pic. I love pictures of CP in the snow. I don't know why because it is obviously better in the summer when the park is open, but to me snow is just beautiful...and in Tennessee, if we get 2 inches people call it a blizzard! :)
BTW...love the teaser title. You probably made some of the 13 year olds piss their pants.

Awwwwwww. I miss snow. It better still be there the week of Christmas cuz I already packed my wool jacket.
I'm going to go to lunch at the beach bar now since it's 88 and sunny outside. :)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Pbbbhhthhhhgh.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to shovel my car.

No kidding. I have been to Sandusky in the winter and have no real urge to go back. Freezing my backside off is no reason to drive 3 hours...
^^I'm a regular on Pointbuzz, of course I carry a big shovel! ;)

Yep. Not much better up here in Chicago. Snow is kind of nice to look at, but that's about the extent of it. I tried winter sports, and even though I'm big on skateboarding, I can't stand snowboarding. I get my butt whooped out there. I'll stay inside and watch TV, thanks. :P

that is quite a picture. and it was damn cold this morning when i went to work. and i got to trek through snow, then slush, then puddles. and the driving was the best part.

Seeing all this snow really makes me want to get out and ski! I've only been skiing twice, but I absolutely loved it, and jump on any opportunity I have to go skiing (obviously not many, lol, not to mention its expensive).

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

I didn't think you needed a shovel to deposit it, Mike.;)
I bow before your expertise in the matter. :)

About an inch of snow was forecast last night but we got more than that! Reason was what I suspected: NOAA had a lake effect snow advisory until 3pm! Wind was north rather than northwest so we got more snow!
Supposed to go down to 12 tonight. Brrr!
Wasn't concerned by the thread title: TTD vanishes in fog several times a month! I saw the aircraft lights on it on the way home about an hour ago!
