Now if someone good is at entrance, that won't happen as much. They'll get everyone questionable to try the test seat. But it's really hard to pull off a nice way of saying "you look fat to me" to someone.

I absolutely hate doing that. I always feel like an idiot asking people to try the test seat. It's basically like saying "You're too fat to ride". "TTT" (or something like that), right Ben?
Yeah... unfortunately by the time some have gotten to our ride they've already tried MF, Raptor, and the other very restrictive seats and are all that much more uncooperative in testing out the test seat...
A nice way to put it, a smile, and a sense of urgency will get you a long way... well that and hoping the other ride hosts at those other rides weren't rude as all heck so they are more willing to cooperate.
I made my annual trip to CP on May 10 - 12 this year...
Monday I rode MF and Dragster with no problems, other than slight difficulty finding the buckle while seated.
Tuesday morning, did the hotel guest ERT walkback to MF and heard the we now require 1" of tail on the seatbelt. Yikes.. Pull hard and get it. 2nd time, tail will not move much.. but got it. Way too much chance of getting turned away on future rides. Crew was nice about it at this point.
Go over to TTD, ended up in a seat with a slightly shorter seatbelt and got told its not safe to ride.
Spent alot of time on Magnum and Raptor..
Well at some point in the afternoon I walked over to Twister to look at it, the person at the entrance suggested that I try it! I was like no I have not made it on WT in the spring yet.. I managed last year in the fall with some effort. So I decided ok, I'll try the test seat. And barely made it.
Takes slight effort, but at least I made it.
So thanks to the entrance person, I got on.
Bottom line some of the rides I can ride:
Chaos, Raptor, twister
Might be, did not play the guessing game.
TTD, MF, Mantis (I need to sit down to get the seatbelt, and then once done I find I have slack!)

Sitting down on seat, making sure that I'm all the way back and then stapling myself to the seat hard. Alot of the GP do this anyway.
Yes I was able to do my own seltbelt too.
If it was not for the entrance person, I would not have attempted.
Do not assume that being able to ride some rides and not others is a overall safety risk. Skinny people may also be at risk!
V2 at SFGam is another story, there force was used on the OTSR in attempt to get me on.
