I would love to see this ride return to CP. It is one of my favourite non-coaster rides and I haven’t been on one in almost 10 years. Even though it is a fair-type ride, I think it would be a great addition to the park.
I'm assuming that you mean the double ferris wheel?? Double decker ones went out with the 1800's (I think)
I can't recall the double ferris wheel at CP. I know where it was, what it looked like, and have seen pictures of it.. but I don't remember riding it.

I know I never rode it at CP...
It runs in my mind that I heard or read somewhere that CP's double wheel was imported...but it sure looks in photographs like a Velare Bros/Allan Herschell/Chance "Sky Wheel."
I actually rode an Allan Herschell Sky Wheel at the Ohio State Fair last summer.

Sorry about that, I mean double wheel. I've always called them double-decker for some reason.
The only one I have ever been on was at the local fair.
If cedar point put in a double ferris wheel it would be cool if it was the tallest one in the world. Like 300+ ft. That would be insane!

"Who needs drugs when you have Cedar Point."
I rode it every time I went to the Park--and it was more frightning to me than the then new Blue Streak!!
The odd thing is that of all the things that Cedar Point has taken out over the years, it is the Double Wheel that people seem to miss the most. I wonder why that is...I mean, there are days when I've been in the park chatting with total strangers and that's what I keep hearing: "I miss the double ferris wheel." Strange. As I never rode it while it was at the Po!nt, it wasn't anything I ever thought about. I guess it must have something to do with its location on the end of the midway...
