Dorney Parks Swan Boats to CP?

i read somewhere on a dorney park fansite that said they removed there swan boats and they will be shipped to cedar point and will use a little bit of the lagoon where paddlewheel excursions was at. did anybody else hear this?

Which would be somewhat ironic, since it wasn't that many years ago that CP shipped its own swan boats to Michigan Adventure, to make room eventually for Maverick.

Weren't the swan boats rather popular here at CP? I remember there was always a long line for them.

They could always take MiA's back since I never see anyone riding them while I am at the park.

I'm not sure popular so much as the ride could take a little while. Maybe they were popular though. I know I rode them once with my sister before they put the net up and we got stuck.

I do remember long waits for the CP swan boats actually, and it was really a perfect family attraction with charm.

If they got these back for 2012, at least they'd have some kind of replacement for PWE. While still only rumor, it sounds like a good (but ironic, as Ensign points out) idea.

My sister-in-law took my very young daughter on those when they were there the last year. One of the few rides she would go on then. They got out on the pond and got caught in a downpour :-)

if cedar point dont give PWE another shot i hope we get the swan boats.

maybe that black thing on dragster cam is a new station for the rumored swan boats.

This could work, considering there is no longer "traffic" on PWE river.

I just went on the swan boats at MiA for the first time this summer. I loved it! I want CP to have them too :)

It's funny you mention MiA. Those used to be CP's swan boats. :-)

That's why she loved them. I assume the CP spirit is still infused in each of those fiberglass fowls. :)
