Donut Time Computers

I don't remember this coming up before. But, the computers in Donut Time have removed the Mice and installed Touch Screens. I'm on one now and like them. Pretty Cool.

I just realized they have pinch zoom as well. :)

We used them too. They are nice. The one I was using was running slowly though.

Everyone should make it their mission to leave PointBuzz on the screen when you're done. :)

Awesome! But with my Verizon Incredible, don't need those computers anymore...

I don't "need" it either. But it's air conditioned in there and there was a free terminal. It's easier to use that than a phone. I don't care how nice a phone you have.

I will not take my iPhone into the park...I don't want to chance breaking or losing it! Plus, I find it annoying when you see people in the line talking on the phone...it's like, you're on vacation...forget the world & have fun!

If I went to parks a couple times a year I would agree with you. But, I'm at parks nearly every weekend throughout the summer. And besides, there's not much else to do while your standing in line. Especially if you by yourself, like me (most of the time). When I have friends with me, I limit my phone use extensively.

I've noticed the same thing with video. If I am at the park by myself, I get a lot more video shot than when I am there with other people. Likewise, I get more shooting done on days that are more crowded.

So how do you right-click with a touch screen?

And have they done anything about locking the machines down a little better? Last time I went into Donut Time and tried to use a computer, they were all in various states of unusable crashiness...

Right clicking is overrated - learn your keyboard CTRL shortcuts and you're ahead of the game.

Well on my Droid you do a "long hold."

A few years ago someone had disabled the Wifi adapter on the PC I sat down at. I found there was full access to the control panel, so I went in to re-enable it. About that time some girl who worked there started freaking out and said they had to "wait for the guy to come restart it when that happens." As an IT guy, it amused me greatly.

Yes,I too have "fixed" the pc's there.

All this time I did'nt know I could get on a computer and check my email while at CP, lol. I have one of those cheap Virgin Mobile prepaid phones where it takes forever to get online.
