Donut time

I was fortunate enough to sample some fresh donuts today from the new bakery. They were warm and delicious mini donuts covered in cinnamon sugar. I think donut time is a nice addition. The layout inside is an efficient cafeteria style setting with a dozen or so tables. From the outside there is a large window to watch the donuts being made. I think it will be very popular. Any one else get to do a taste test today?

Sounds like a nice addition. One question, they say guests can enter the park early to go to Donut Time...How exactly will that one work??

You know you're having a good day when you're looking at the green side of the grass and not the underside.

I'm not sure but I heard there is going to be a retractable gate that will go across the midway, just past donut time, with an entrance for hotel guests and joe cool members to enter early.

KA- I emailed Cedar Point last week and they said that they will let people in, but there will be a fenced off area so guests cannot enter the rest of the park. However, it will open at 9:00, so the Joe Coolers won't really "get in early."

I'm back for the summer. =) Out of curiosity, does anyone know how the donuts are going to be priced? Let's hope CP doesn't pull $2 per donut or something.

I think it will probably be the same price as how much they charge for Soft Drinks in a regular cup.

Midway caresoul (I can't spell that word) opens with donut time. Which is cool for guests... not cool for me... cause one of our crew has to go in early every day to open it up!

On a side note... opening day is AWESOME so far!

Donut Time charges $0.89/ donut. I recommend getting a dozen glazed mini-donuts for $3.95.

Donut Time was very popular opening day; perhaps that was because it was well-heated and the weather was chilly.

The Donuts were great. I had one yesterday. Today I had a brownie, and I hardly thought that it was "relativley small". Actually it was pretty big. Enough to cause a sugar coma. In fact my niece couldn't finish hers.

Donut Time is a good idea, but I am staying away if I want to fit on TTD or MF!

They are your basic raised cake donuts. They look similar to Krispy Kremes, but are nothing like them in taste. Much more doughy and chewy.
