Don't be dissapointed, Please!

I'm not dissapointed at all, but I know lots of people are. You shouldn't! CP just added MF, so of course they have to add something smaller next time. I love the new ride, my only wish is that it would go at least 80 MPH.

There are lots of good things though, it will be the point's first Launch.

It's gonna be right on the beach, and will make the area around so much better!

My only disappointment is the ride's inability to move a line of 5,000 to 10,000 people on a busy weekend! Hince ONE train operation! I thought that CP always cared about capacity I just hope they do something about it!

A line of 10,000 people! That'd be something to see! That would be about a 6.5 hour wait for Magnum or Raptor! About an 8.33 hour wait for MF! Even 5,000 people would be pushing it. Although it's an Impulse, CP will probably run it very efficiently, using three ops on each side of the train to check restraints and get the train dispatched again quickly. Although this ride individually might not be a great people mover, it is just 800 or 1,000 more people added to the parks overall capacity which takes people away from other lines.

Yeah, if the lines got that long, you'd think they'd have enough sense to got over and get in line for the amazingly high capacity of DT. :)

I've never been on an Impulse, but whether I have or not it's Cedar Point and for that reason alone I am totally confident that it'll kick ass. I mean, it could be a Jr. Gemini clone and hell, it would still be cool!

People will find anything to complain about. They complained last year because Cedar Point didn't get a roller coaster. They even complained with Millennium Force. "Its going to be short", "It doesn't have any air time." People whine about everything, just wait until next year.

Just because it is at Cedar Point doesn't mean it will "kick ass". It's my favorite park too, but I seem to remember Avalanche Run? If this forum had existed then I'm sure people would have been on exclaiming that "Hey, CP knows what they're doing, this bobsled thing is going to totally KICK*****because Cedar Point is building it!! Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see a whole lot of people on this forum with screen names exalting Avalanche Run."

CP is not infallible. They have made mistakes. Wicked Twister, in my opinion, will be an "ok" addition, but certainly not worthy of the hype and all the secrecy. Most people I think are disappointed because what was finally announced did not live up to the long build up.

Will it be a good ride? Probably. Was it REALLY worth all the hype, secrecy and build up to the "big announcement?" Nah.

Be honest with yourself. When the announcement was FINALLY made, did you jump up and down yelling, "YES!! A Double Twisting Impulse a whole 34 feet higher than the one at Six Flags, YES YES YES This is what we've been dying for this last couple of months!!!!" ...... or did you say, "oh ...... well, ok that's going to be a fun ride."

The hype wasn't created by the park... 99.9% of the world didn't care or know anything was going on. The hype was created right here by people who think that the park can build a $25 million ride every other year.

This coaster is getting hype from us because it is from Cedar Point. One thing is, people have ridden these type of roller coasters before without the double twist and they say the coaster is a good one. Why should this one be any different?/P>

I think it will be geat! I was thinking. This ride is about as tall as the highes ride in my home park. (SFEG) You people may no be impressed by WT, but I sure am

on BS we pushed around 1000 people an hour though the line on a good day. Wicked twister is gonna have around a 3 hour wait im guessing. Full cues on Blue streak is 45 minutes - and hour. Depending on how many intervals are hit.
