I saw this on eBay and thought it was interesting.
Not sure what to make of it.
I'm not sure if it's from Geauga Lake too, but the seller also had an auction on Steel Hand Railings.

Yes, I know it's being relocated. That's why I said "Kinda."

It's not for sale anymore. I bought it. I clicked the "Buy It Now" button.
Are you sure you bought it. It still looks for sale to me.

The auction ended with no one meeting the reserve. How much did this guy think he was going to get?

A little birdie just pointed out something to me. The spine and ribs of Doninator are yellow, but the track is grey. Looks like just a big scam.

Now that you mention it, then ends look too clean.
If it was scrap, they wouldn't have bothered to clean the burrs from the cuts. And if it was torched out, there should be burn marks around the edge.
There is also no reference to the picture, for all we know, that tube could be too big (diameter wise) to be a coaster rail.

Has Dominator ever been painted? Raptor used to have silver rails too until it was painted and now they're green.
Edit: actually, in the pic on the ebay listing, it even looks like the rails are silver. LOL!!
I checked the deconstruction pics on other websites too and the rails are definitely still silver. *** Edited 10/30/2007 2:49:58 PM UTC by halltd***
I still can't belive I didn't notice it myself. Here's a pic I took a few weeks ago.

I emailed the dude on ebay and asked why he was selling a yellow piece of tube from a coaster with gray track.
Here's his response:
first you are a ****ing ***hole. the piece of tube is deffiently grey, its a bad pic. i also have all the material certs from the company and the work order from geauga lake from when it was put in. those pics on e-bay are just a few of many from the job site. so before you go opening your retarded mouth you need to learn more about what you are talking about you stupid ****face. dont ever accuse me of fraud again.
Make of that what you will.
