Dollars dogs at the Coral Courtyard

Ok help me out fellow platinum pass members, what is up with this:

Friday and Saturday nights, Platinum Pass holders can take advantage of a great new money-saving offer: dollars dogs at the Coral Courtyard along with a free bag of chips and a Coca-Cola beverage.

Are they saying "dollar dogs" like dollar dog night at Progressive field? Can;t find any details on this anywhere on the Cedar Point Web site.

Help me out!! What does this deal entail?

Just outside the park, near Windseeker.

I hadn't heard of this addition to beach blast either. I also wasn't sure where coral courtyard was. Sounds like you exit the park at the beach gates by Windseeker?

They're selling hot dogs for a dollar with free chips and drink? I think we'll be checking this one out. ;)

Kings Dominion offered dollar hot dogs only (no drink or chips) when I was there over Memorial Day. It was a nice gesture, and the line was long, but remember you get what you pay for, ha-ha. They were probably the lowest quality dogs and buns you could get. Again, I don't want to sound unappreciative. The deal provided us a chance to get a meal for cheap - basically freeing the funds to spend elsewhere in the park.

But as one who tries to eat healthy whenever possible, I felt guilty afterwards.

Good heavens, a hot dog made you feel guilty? Do you usually pack when you go then? I just don't want to eat burgers, fries, and hot dogs when I go, but for a dollar, and if we're hungry, we'll give it a go!

Sounds like a good deal, we'll check it out tomorrow night. it'd be nice if this was extended prior to the beach party time frame. But a good opportunity to save $$ again , anytime, is always good!
