DOJ Seeks Additional Info from Six Flags, Cedar Fair on $8 Bln Merger
The U.S. Department of Justice has requested more information and documents from Six Flags Entertainment and Cedar Fair as it reviews their proposed $8 billion merger.
Parks are expecting it to take them more time to provide the requested info than they expect it will take them to close the after providing the info. Presumably they are not expecting the request to impact the deal (maybe push it from earlier in first half to later in first half?). When it was announced, I think they said the merger was expected to close in the first half of 2024.
