While looking at the webcam, the over flow area is being used up. The main lot looks be be completely filled up. Was wondering is the Cleveland Clinic there today? or another large company there? or just a really large crowd. That's the fullest I've seen it the hole year.

I was thinking the same thing. Wow I haven't seen TTD's line all the way in the last queue section in a while.

It was just a slammin' day at the point. They actually filled the main lot, the overflows, ands the breakers/soak city lots. They ended up turning people away. Nice day + summer wrapping up (activities begin for a lot of people in August) = busy day at the point!

actually they weren't turning people away. i work in tolls and we kept letting people in. yes soak city, hotels, and the marina parking lots did fill up and they had a solution for that problem. people had to park in over flow then walk to pet check to catch a shuttle bus back there. but yes this is the bussiest it has been all season long.

If all of the lots filled up, would that be around 50,000? Only wish someone was there today and took pictures, love to see the craziness. I bet the company's higher ups pulled out there rank's and were raking up all that money.

^ I think its about 53'000 people. Last Columbus Day weekend was like how it looks today.

You also have to think, how was Soak City's lot too...if that was full and they went in the park it ads to the number but yeah, it looked packed today.

I'm wondering how they judge crowds... Obviously they can easily take an actual count from the admission tickets/passes, but if they do it by car, what would they do? I'd guess that it's probably an average of aboud 2.5 people per car. Only enthusiasts come alone (for the most part) and normally it's 3 or more per vehicle.

II know I was out at Geauga Lake WWK and that was pretty busy too! I think it was beacuse it was a Saturday with some great weather for a change here in Northern Ohio!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
I have a theory. The economy has been showing signs of improvement for a few months and, with the threat of job losses becoming more remote, a lot of families are beginning to loosen up with their wallets. I suspect a huge number of moms and dads are suddenly realizing that things aren't so bad, and holy crap, summer's almost over.

Kind of makes me glad I decided not to head down there yesterday on a spur of the moment trip. :)

I think they take a count by the turn styles.

No one special was there. It was packed Saturday though. When was the last time you saw Magnum's queue full, Dragon's queue over a 1/2 hour, and you could almost walk out of Maverick's exit and be in the line to get on?! Crazy! I'm glad I was on a VIP tour. :)
I've waited in Dragster line passed the pop and candy machines. The was 2 and a half hour wait.

Yes, in fact, the new LCD screen on the causeway said "Welcome Cleveland Clinic" on the way into the park in the AM.
