Dodgem becomes Magic House on Boo Hill

When I was at the park yesterday I noticed that Dodgem was closed and they were putting boards up to close it in. I just checked out the Halloweekends section here and realized it is for Magic House on Boo Hill. My question is why are they doing it so soon?

I think this is about the time they do it every year. HalloWeekends starts three weeks from Friday and there's a lot to accomplish.

It's a kid friendly funhouse.

Walt's right,

Usually around Labor Day weekend the park begins to gear up for Halloweekends. Labor Day weekend is the time when the park goes through some changes since the peak season is over. We used to see two of Gemini's trains get relocated to Mean Streak, amongst other things.

The big thing is that enthusiasts (or at least people who know) tend to come out from hiding since early June to marathon the rides since the park is less crowded!

The funhouse is cute. I could see how a kid would love it and I'm looking forward to taking my future kids through it and going trick or treating.

Rob, my kids love the non-scary parts of HalloWeekends. Boo Hill is one of their favorites.

Ya there is soo much to accomplish they have to start early. I have never done the house because I'm a little old for that but I like the scares better anyway. The thing they had on the cadillac cars a few years ago was nice though. When they were handing out candy to the little kids.

It seems to me that Dodgem was open last year when I went on Labor Day. They did have some halloweekends stuff up around the park though.
