Do you think it would be nice if a Chipotle opened up at Cedar Point?

It would be another nice place to get something to eat while at the park. I would love to see a Chipotle open up at Cedar Point. I think it would be another unique food option.

Better than a chipotle would be the Mexican food restaurant they have at KI.
It's the parks and it's great a run very well.

Chipotle is already pricey... imagine a $15 burrito at park prices

The Chuck Wagon Inn had something similar to Chipotle last year. I ate there once with the meal plan. It wasn't too bad. I can't believe I didn't realize they had that option in there. I guess I tend to forget about it. I also love seeing some of my old ride signs in there. :)

Well its decided what I am having for dinner tonight. Thanks!

I might have to do the same myself.

It would be a great addition, can't really see a downside.

^^^something similar: like people making your food as you order in a cafeteria style line?

Not a big fan of chipotle, the one in Sandusky was pretty filthy the few times I've been there, and that was in the off season.
I'd imagine the franchisee has rights in the area, so CP would have to deal with someone that runs his store poorly.

CP would do well by getting food service managers from KI to help them out and do it themselves.

As Captain Matt said, Chuck Wagon is pretty good and is run similar to Chipotle. One of the better dinning plan choices for sure.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

$6.50 for a burrito that will have you full for hours? I don't really consider that "pricey". Especially since people pay $15 for a burger basket that probably costs $2 to make. I would be more than glad to spend $15 on a Chipotle burrito. But as mentioned above, Chuck Wagon is a good substitute.

I love Chipotle but as was mentioned I doubt I could afford to eat there once they raise the prices for being in the park. Heck, it cost me almost $40 last time my family ate there at regular prices. So in a way having one in the park would just be a big tease. You know, let's smell the Chipotle and walk past it on our way to the van to eat our PB&J and Lunchables...

Chain restaurants are good, but I would rather have more original places.

If the trend has to be established name brands, I would much prefer regional brands that aren't in Ohio.

I get it. People like brands they are familiar with. Panda Express, Subway, Chipotle.... how am I supposed to know if Frontier Inn has good food or not? :-) What one gets at chains may not be great food, but it's refreshingly familiar food.

But I'm with Thabto. I'd prefer parks have original places, or, at least, local, not national chains.

^ I think that's it for lots of people traveling. McDonald's is blah but you know your kid will eat the nuggets without a fuss. It's just easy. Some people prefer chain also because if you are sensitive to food or have a fussy gut there's not so much wondering about whether that no name regional thing that looks good is going to have you spending the rest of your day in the bathroom. For some people vacation is not a time to get experimental with food.

I never understood this. I for one, and most people I know, like to try the local flavors every time we are in a new city or country. If I'm in Chicago I'm not eating Dominos, I'm going to Giordano's. New York, I'm going to Lombardi's or Joe's or one of the other original NY-style pizzerias. If in London, I'm eating bangers and mash or pie and mash or fish and chips. But to each their own I guess.

As far as fast service Mexican style restaurants go, I prefer Qdoba to Chipotle. You get almost twice the food at 90 cents to the dollar.

On my very first visit to Chicago, back in high school, my mother, her best friend and her best friend's daughter at her best friend's brother's place. I was so excited! Chicago! Food everywhere! What would I get to eat.

First night in (at the time) the second largest city in the country, we got Domino's and rented a video. (On the upside, the next day we went to the Walnut Room at Marshall Field's. Classic Chicago experience.)

I always try to seek out more local places when I'm on vacation or in another town for work (and at home for that matter) and avoid the chain places. Based on the number of chain places closing locations, I'm not the only one.

When I go on vacation, I would much rather go to a place that I can't go to anytime at home. Heck, I barely even go to chain restaurants when I'm at home. My favorite places are ones that are local to the area.

I agree. I can have Chipotle anytime back home. If I go on vacation, I would rather go to a local restaurant than a chain restaurant while in town. In fact, I miss some of the local restaurants in Sandusky with not working at the park anymore.

I'd prefer they worked on upping their game on the existing food services they have before adding anything new.

Or just keep food trucks all season, those were great!
It just amazes me that the food trucks can put out Fresh, Hot, tasty food quickly in a much more confined space than CP food services can at 'quick' service stands. What I meant was it amazes me that the stands can't do food as good as a food truck.
