Do you think Dragster will affect MF's lines?

Do you? I think it will for the first month or two of the season, then people (the GP) will get bored of the same short thing over and over, and they'll go back to MF. I know i'll be in line (over and over) for this thing
I think it will see quite alot of people in line for some years.

I think that MF will have the great ERT in the morning that Magnum has had the past couple of years. It probably won't be to the extent that was with Magnum where it was a walk-on for an hour and a half, but I think you'll be able to get several 10-15 minute rides in.

The GP won't get bored with "Dragster" because most of the guests don't come to the park more than once a year. They all have the mentality of riding the latest first, however some of them stop at Raptor as they walk in. I just fear that going into the back of the park first won't be as dead as it has in past years. If you start at MF, and work your way around, Magnum will undoubtably have a lot of people in the queue, and if you go to Magnum first, MF will undoubtably have a lot of people in the queue before you can get around.

Most guests Do run to the MF as soon as the park opens. Not that many people stop in to ride the raptor. This year i got 4 walk on rides, Before i got tired. Then ran to the MF and the lines were already filling up. Extending down the fronteir trail.

I'm thinking it will be similar to the WT, It didnt steal alot of croweds from the MF. Although this thing will be alot bigger.

I hope so, becasue although I hear of small mf lines, I always hit them when it's 2 hour long lines....

Well, as MF seemed to make Mantis lines god awful long this year, I fear Dragster will disrupt the Magnum. Magnum has seemed to be completely empty the past two years, I have never had to wait longer than 25 minutes! Luckily, this new ridemay balance the MF line a little better so we won't have a steady hour long line all day long.
I believe that #16 will have lines in the range of 1-2 hours, more on busy saturdays of coruse. Also, I think that it will draw more people to it's area simply because of it's sheer size. MF will still draw people to it, and mantis. MF will probably have between 30 minutes and an hour wait under most circumstances, with up to 2 hours durning abnormaly packed days and saturdays.

I don't think that it will affect MF lines because people will ride "Dragster" and then want to go to the next tallest coaster in the park.

I think it will just make the lines more evenly distributed all around. Now the crowds will be spread between MF, WT, and #16. This leaves just frontier town without a major crowd attracting ride.

You never know. I don't think Wicked Twister effected Millennium Force's lines so...

Yes, but WT wasn't anything too earth shattering. I'm sure that many of the guests that went to CP have gone to SFWoA, so they have already been on an impulse. I still think that it will effect MF's lines in the morning.

If anything, it will help even out lines across the board. Something we can all be happy with.

It probably will to some extent because I am betting that most of the people staying at the Hotel Breakers are going to ride this one first, then MF.

Thanks. I didn't realize until reading this thread that my Standard Cedar Point Protocol (SCPP), which I was going to start a thread about later in the offseason (to find out what other people's were) would be disrupted by Dragster. Currently, my friends and I enter the park through the Soak City gate, and get 2-3 walk on rides on Magnum to start the day. There is nothing like starting a day at the Point on the world's best roller coaster.

Now it looks like we will have to rethink SCPP, and maybe start the day elsewhere.

This makes me have one question I hope someone can answer for me: Since at least one friend of mine (Mr. Magnum) and myself will have JCC next year, can you enter at any gate for ERT? In other words, can we still get a few walk-on rides on Magnum before most of the GP?

It won't do much; people are scared and they won't ride the dragster without taking a warmup on the Force. I don't think MF's lines are gonna get any shorter.
That's what I said about Magnum years ago when lines were hours long. Now, it's often a walkon.

More rides = shorter lines on ALL rides.

For the Joe Cool Club are you allowed to enter any gate like the gate near the Magnum or just the main gate.

Joe Cool club and resort guests can enter any gate for ERT. I agree that 16 will even lines accross the board.
