Do you miss Sea World?

As a kid it was a big deal. It wasn't as big of a deal as a teenager because at the time I was just more interested in following girls around. Once I have a child of my own, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll visit the Orlando park.

I don't know if anyone has sed this yet but I thought it was pretty cool just to know that you were walking in a former sea world. I too loved sea world and six flags but now that cedarfair owns the park I hope it will continue to get better.

Also, if Six Flags would have been opening for a 2005 season this year, I wonder how it would have been and if it would affect them closing or not?

No I don't miss it and quit asking about it get over it. I think GL's new water park is going to be magnificient and it's what six flags should of done to it in the first place. Come on up to Marineland in Niagra Falls if you want to experience sea world it's the same thing plus you get to ride some rides that have been there for 20 years or so, except for there new S&S Extreem Screem ride. Who knows when they will build another ride. Probobly in another 20 years.

Quit asking about it? The thread is 3 months old. :)

Sea World is a great lose. I loved going there as a kid and even as i got older. but i was fortunate enough to make it there the last season it was open. oh and by the way six flags sucked that year.

The world looks better at 420 feet in the air... first ride May 14th, 2005

only 997 laps left on MF..

So i resurrect dead post... is that a bad thing?

I do very much so. Sea world was great, I had alot of great times with the fam there. Its kind of pointless right now for geauga lake to own that side since theres really no rides over there due to the city restrictictions. If seaworld could come back I would definately want it to.

Haven't you heard? There is a huge waterpark going in over there.

I miss Sea World being there because I used to go a lot when I was a kid, but even then I asked my mom "Where are the rides"? I hope Geauga Lake keeps the Water ski shows at least, that was a major thing you saw at Sea World, so it will a little piece of Sea World still there.

Sea World holds a lot of memories for me. It was the only amusement park that my whole family would actually go to and enjoy together. My grandparents just are not into "world class thrills". All of the shows and the penguin exhibit and shark encounter were all favorites. We used to go every year until Six Flags bought the park. Since then I have been the only one in my family to travel to the park.

Don't get me wrong, Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom is a great family amusement park with plenty to do for everyone, but I am afraid that there will never be anything like Sea World in Ohio again.

I do, indeed, miss Sea World.

But, as people say, that stuff gets old. Atleast now, the owners of it are good to the park <3

Sea World does bring back good memories. Too bad they left.

Thrills Around the Corner!

It's still fun to visit the park even though we lost Sea World. I really enjoyed the Whale show with Sheudka. That was the best part. I guess they thought Sea World Does better down south then it does here in Ohio. WildWater Kingdom is A lot of fun, I'm excited to see Phase II when they start construction again.

I think everyone should chill out about Sea World It's gone so get over it. Take a ride to Niagra Falls Canada if you want to go to Sea Worls, it's the same thing
