Do they Have Freeway For TTD?

I was just wondering if they had Freeway For TTd. If SO when does the stand start stamping hands. I hope they do becasue it speeds up lines

The park has Freeway set up to use, but they do not use it because the coaster is to unpredicitable to be running at any given time during the day. Hopefully they will use it next year.

Yep.... there is a booth.... right next to "Hot Fries" adjacent from the Corkscrew but it is never in use... Freeway passes are not available for Top Thill Dragster... they have a freeway merge point before the ramp, and a person stationed there, but they do not issue them... unless...

You get in line when the ride opens sometime during the day, then as you are waiting the ride goes down to mechanical problems. You wait.... in acess of 4 hours, then they eventually kick you out of line (most likely the station because most of the line would have left and not waited as long) As you are walking down the ramp, they award you with what me and my friends call a "Trooper Award" they issue 2 passes. 1 is green, it says this exactly on the card:

"We Apologize that your day was interrupted

present this pass at the entrance of TOP THRILL DRAGSTER for freeway boarding privileges. (one person per ride, per pass)

PASS MUST BE SURRENDERED AT TIME OF REDEMPTION.

Non-transferable. Pass is void if copied or sold. review Safety Guide Sign at entrance before boarding the ride"

The other one is Purple, it says:

"We Apologize that your day was interrupted

present this pass at the special access entrance of _____________ for immediate boarding privileges. (one person, one ride per pass)

PASS MUST BE SURRENDERED AT TIME OF REDEMPTION

GOOD ONLY ON DAY ISSUED

Non-Transferable. pass is void if copied or sold. Not valid for Top Thrill Dragster. Review safety guide sign at entrance of ride before boarding"

We asked about the "good only on day issued" and they said it is good anyday not just the day issued...

So these are the only Freeway passes that I know of for dragster.

Does anyone know why they don't just put the booth away for the season. It is has been obvious for a long time that due to the unpredictability of the ride they cannot issue passes and don't plan to do so until next season. It creates confusion when the GP sees the booth even though it reads freeway passes will not be distributed today. Please CP do everyone a favor and put the booth away until next season!

If by chance it ever runs from opening until close with only minor breakdowns and they decide they are ready to issue passes then how hard is it to roll it back into place?

cuz its just that, unpredictable, so if it starts working like a charm over the next couple weeks, then theyd have to take the booth back out again.

it doesnt really seem like something that can just 'roll' into place, and why not just leave it there, I dont really find it to be that confusing... "...will not be distributed today" is pretty straightforward.

To the people that are there for several days they think maybe tomorrow and then the next day and the next...... come on who are we kidding

The stand is a cart on wheels, a 4 year old could move it.

Every time I hear someone ask a CP employee if they will be issued this year they tell them... no not until next year.

Finally ! They removed the freeway stand for Dragster.

I wish TTD would have run well enough this year to issue passes but it was obvious for a long time it wasn't going to happen.I'm sure the employees working that area are glad to see it go. Now I guess I can change my Sig.
