Do the spikes sway?

Did a cursory search and didn't find anything in the forums: so do the spikes sway like on S:UE? Just wondering given the additional supports on WT
I wasn't there yesterday, but I can assure you that they do sway. I think I remember Jeff even writing that the supports actually move as well. If the track didn't sway, the track above the supports would snap and we would all plunge to our deaths...but wouldn't that be the way to go? ;)

Yeah, I saw some lateral movement of the support structure. Pretty creepy!

That sounds pretty sweet, but something I didn't think would happen. I guess the higher you get with the impulses, the more absorption by the whole structure and not just the track. That ought to be interesting to see.

Hmm..maybe it will "sway" people away from riding...although, CP had better be careful. Rides that don't seem safe (when in fact they are) in the public's eye tend to be taken out of the park. (VertiGo)
