I don't remember what I paid last year but I recall at one time there was a discount for the 2 Day Ride and Slide if you were a resort guest.
Did this deal end when they lowered the prices?
I have been all over the CP site and this forum but could not find any comment on Resort Discounts.
Even the Discounts section of PointBuzz directs you to the Resort Benefits page but there is not mention of ticket discounts.
I had to dig to find the information. I found it in the Resorts Newsletter.
"Cedar Point Resorts guests save when they purchase Ride and Slide tickets* good for two days admission to both Cedar Point and Soak City (must be used at both parks on the same two days). The discount price will be just $64. It’s a great deal on the best in riding and sliding fun!
Registered guests may also purchase regular Cedar Point admission tickets for only $31 at all our front desks."
The single day CP admission is a good discount. The regular price for a 2-day Ride and Slide is $64.95, so you're only saving .95 off of that.
Tickets are included if you book a package deal at the resorts.
Just stay at Lighthouse Point. You'll save the added cost preparing your own food.

We go every year for 2 days, mid week, the last week of August. The lines are much shorter that week.
We live right near Port Huron Michigan so it only takes around 3 hours or so to get there.
It is actually a bit closer for us than going to Canada's Wonderland. And, well, Its a far superior park for less money. Everything is cheaper in the US now that the Canadian dollar is so strong.
I am hoping that a season pass will be worthwhile next year if we can use it for both parks.
