Can somebody help me out with the discount ticket thing? You see, I live in Texas, but will be making a trip to CP in early July with my family and girlfriend. I'm counting pennies, so every dollar counts. Where can I get some discount tickets? Hell, if someone can buy me some and mail them to me that'd be wonderful! Help me out, please. I need to save some cash!

By the way, I plan to get 2-day tickets. Would it be cheaper to just by them at the gate or are there some 2-day discounts out there also?

You can go to Cedar Point's web site and request a brochure. The brochure has discount coupons for admission, hotels, restaurants and just about everything else.
You can also request a Fun Guide by calling 1-800-BESTFUN. It's probaly the same brochure that they send from the web site, but I'm not sure.
Also, check in at Ohio AAA's, if you're a member. They should have discounted tickets available...

Speaking of the BEST FUN GUIDE, Today I just got a little piece of mail asking if I wanted a 2000 edition. This was surprising to me, they never did this before. Has anyone else gotten a piece of mail asking this?
