Defunctland just made an awesome video about the history of Disaster Transport some of you may want to check out. The song at the end killed me. Definitely gonna be listening to it on my next trip to Halloweekends!
Arms Down, Head Back, and Hold On!...Arms Down!...Arms Down......
Fun to see some of the old footage. My God that building was ugly, I almost forgot. It looks so much better now with GateKeeper.
CP Coaster Top 10: 1. Steel Vengeance (40 rides to date) 2. Top Thrill Dragster (191 launches to date, 4 rollbacks) 3. Magnum XL 200 4. Millennium Force 5. Maverick 6. Raptor 7. GateKeeper 8. Valravn 9. Rougarou 10. Gemini
Great find, thanks for sharing! Jogged a bunch of old memories. I remember waiting an hour and a half in all of those queues....what a waste! I did like the ride, just not worth that kind of wait. Teenagers went on it to make out in the dark waiting areas.

Good old modesty ;-) I prefer today's "shock & awe" got-it-flaunt-it approach regarding my public displays.
I wonder if SteVen has a space inside the figure 8 that could be used for an old west themed dark ride in the future. Would be an efficient use of room.

I'm assuming you mean the infield of the ride, because there is nothing "figure 8" about the layout.
Maverick since '99
That's what I meant, yes. I remember rumblings a few years ago about Mean Streak having some unused space in its centre that was only used for a few technical elements which could be relocated if the need arose.
It beats stripping out the ballroom which would be a shame and a loss of functional training space...
