Disaster Transport 80

The Disaster Transport 80 is now officially scheduled for June 26th. That's a Tuesday. I'm asking that anyone who wants to come just drop me an e-mail so I can have a list of people coming. I just want to know how many people will be there. Mikey is getting t-shirts for us, they'll be 11 bucks. E-mail him to get a shirt, e-mail me to sign up (squishypants@yahoo.com). They are so cool! I will be wearing it at the park tomorrow,(sat the 9)! They are "rocket red" and say "DISASTER TRANSPORT 80" On the front in a half circle. On the back they say, "DISpatch mASTER TRANSPORT...CEDAR POINT...SANDUSKY, OHIO, TUESDAY, JUNE 26, 2001"....very nice..sorry no scanner...:(

Ah, come join us Alex, it will be fun! Hey guys...I was there yesturday (Tuesday) and there was a 1/2 hour wait for DT. Although it was 95 degrees outside. But with those kind of lines I dont know if we'll be able to do it. But regardless it will be great fun to try...So how many people do we have now? If there's rain and/or excessive heat we are going to have a problem.

Okay guys with only 5 days until we do this I think we should come up with where and what time stuff. Are we going to meet outside the DT enterence or outside the gates? How early? We need to clear this all up soon...

I think it would be a good idea if we all meet up near DT's enterence. That way we wouldn't have to look hard to find each other. The weather looks like it would be against us with the high being 83, but it also will be sunny all day. http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USOH0855?y=13&x=8

MEETING TIME!

We will meet at the main gate to the park at ten minutes to ten (that's ten minutes to opening). What happens after that is left to fate. If we make it to 80, we make it to 80. If not, then we can say we tried! See everyone there!

TIME CORRECTION

not thinking about ert folks i hastily chose the gate. We will meet a 9:45 at the entrance to DT. That way we can decide how we're going to go about our day in the dark! see yall there!

Just a suggestion that I am surprised hasn't been brought up yet. Why don't you people meet at the Beach Gate? Park in the Soak City lot and walk down the beach to the gate. This has two advantages, A. there will be NO one there, and B. Its cloer to the ride entrance, and they maybe up and ready for you guys!

FINALLY....I have RETURNED to GTTP after a GREAT Two-Week trip to Orlando....glad to see some many more folks have signed up/ thought about the DT80....MEETING TIME? My suggestion is 9:30 at the FLAG POLE outside the park...I will be there with my friend Natalie in our cool DT Shirts...
