Different Colors?

why is the lauch portion white and red? why does it switch back and forth for the first 70ft or so?

To me it look like the track for the tophat is a different color like blue color take a look at his photo

The TopHat is red. All the pieces in the parking lot where red, sorry =P

Because they ran out of red pieces. ;) Yeah, it's so it gives a greater sensation of speed. That's why they put it on the upwards curve, you can see the track coming towards you with the different colours on. If the track pieces were red and white elsewhere they would be out of your line of vision, so they'd be pointless!

Doesnt it look like Power Towers big Brother? :)

Maybe it has to do with (gasp) some sort of 'theme'? Time will tell.

actually the track was vandalized by drunks in the parking lot. they thought it would be funny to paint a few pieces white. one in a million chance that they painted what would be every other track.

I haven't been this excited for a coaster since MF ::jumps up and down::, but I just don't agree with the color scheme. I would have painted the tower black, and the track bright orange. Where the track colors alternate, I would have made the track alternate from orange to black, with the color differences shorter in length (not one full piece of track per color). ...But then again, it's not my park nor thrill ride!

Woohoo, Color scheme threa again. havent seen one of these in a while. Its red and white because when you go fast it turns pink, And pink is dick kinzels favorite color.

This will look amazing at the speeds the train will be traveling.

Everyone says that the alternating colors will look impressive, but won't the front seat be the only seat where it will be possible to see the track?

I've been waiting a month to see if anyone else would figure this out. No one has, so here's the deal. The bottoms of the cars will be transparent so all the riders will be able to see the track whiz by in its alternating colors. The extra track spurs are cleaning stations because the ride ops are going to have to scrub down the floors after ever few runs due to all the "waste materials" that will accumulate on the floors. Do you remember those big pipes that were in front of the ground level cam a few weeks ago? Those were the drainage pipes for the cleaning station. ;-))

Brent02, I was thinking the same thing about not being able to see the track while sitting on the train. Is there any chance at all that this monster might be floorless?

I don't understand the alternating colors either. I agree that the only people who can see it will be in front. That entire launch would be cool if it was enclosed in a tunnel with strobe lighting....Hopefully the announcement will answer the questions regarding the track colors.
