Design your own Coastermania
OK-CP has given YOU full rein on designing Coastermania 2001-what would be your IDEAL Coastermania? Making it as far fetched, or real as you want.
My Coastermania would begin at 6am-gates opened and Raptor ready to fly (NO block brake) for only my CLOSEST CP buds (and Mike Piazza if he just happened to show) We could re-ride Raptor till 7am when the g.p. w/coaster club cards would be admitted in, any non CP pass holders would have to pay $90.00 to get in--this is my attempt to keep the crowds down. During this or any ride time if I wanted to run controls, do speils or dispatch I could too. ERT on Raptor, MF and Magnum 7am-9am.
12 noon: lunch for Coastermania people
Guest speaker? Mike Piazza (ha ha)
(This is MY Coastermanis remember??)
The food however would be Coaster cheeseburges, fries, and for dessert? Dippin Dots of course!!
(Oh-I forgot to mention only my closest CP buds and I get food free ALL day at the park - anything we wanted and at 8pm we could go to Midway Market and chow down for dinner-free)
10pm-say ba bye to the gp. 10pm-1am ERT on Banshee and Magnum. 1am- ba bye to everyone BUT my closest CP buds again.
MF and Magnum open JUST for us till 2 am.
2am MY Coastermania officially over.
(ok so it'll never happen BUT-as long as this years Coastermania is as much fun as lasts was I'll be happy)

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??
My own personal coastermania? No one else in the park except for me, my best friend, and of course, the employees.
Me and my 2 friends would get to ride Raptor and Mantis all I wanted for ERT in the morning--only letting people 93 people in for each of the rides to weigh down the trains and make for a more intense ride. This would also help my fellow enthusiasts have a good time. Then when the let the ropes down, my friends and I would get on MF first with a couple of rerides. Then we would ride Mean Streak, Magnum, Gemini and the rest of the coasters all day. At night, Mean Streak, Magnum, and MF would all be open at night. The enthusiasts would have to wait in line for these coasters, but we would have front of the line passes the whole time--including re-ride passes.
Now that would REALLY boost my coaster count!

Enough with the general public! My Coastermania would involve the park being closed to the public, with just me, my guests, and assorted CP fanatics in the park all day.

6:00-7:00 a.m.- Rides start testing with a small ERT on Millennium Force.
7:30-9:00 a.m.- ERT on Blue Streak, Disastor Transport, Corkscrew and WildCat.
9:30-11:00 a.m.- ERT on Mine Ride, Gemini, Woodstock Express, and Iron Dragon.
12:00-1:30 p.m.- Lunch in the Pavillion with all the weiners, burgers, shakes, and fries you can eat!
2:00-3:00 p.m.- Guest speaker. It would be someone like Itamin or Arrow Dynamics, or someone else.
3:00-7:00 p.m.- Whole park open with all the rides and coasters to ride. Also with a 4:00-5:30 ERT on Mean Streak.
7:15-9:00 p.m.- Food in the Pavillion (again).
10:00-12:00 a.m.- ERT on Raptor and Mantis
12:15-3:15 a.m.- ERT on Magnum and Millennium Force.
I know it would be a long day, but I would also throw in some discounts to hotels and tickets to Soak City.
I think that would be a great Coastermania!:)

OK. Top five rides, six hours, $19.00. No, wait, that’s Millennium Mania - my bad.
Whatever else I did, I’d make sure Mean Streak was running at top speed with no trim brakes. Also, breakfast and dinner would be included as well.

In my Coastermania, having the public in the park would be just fine. Just give me and a few of my closest friends unlimited exit passes for each ride in the park all day long. For lunch, CP would provide a free meal at the Bay Harbor with Mr. Kinzel as host. After signing non-disclosure agreements, he would reveal plans for the park for the next five years. Then the no wait rides would continue until closing. At closing, MF would remain open for us for another hour. Solo front seat rides would be available for that hour, along with free beer after every ride. Then, CP would provide a free hotel room for us to sleep it off!
