I read on the internet that CP is trying to sell Demon Drop for $250,000. Is this true? Sorry if this is an old topic, i searched the forum but could not find a related thread.

As of now, it is still for sale but has not been sold.
Since they probably wouldn't try to move it mid-season, maybe they could just move it to one of the Paramount parks after CP's season ends...
2006 CP Visits: Lost count...
Next visit: May 13th...?
Except that all of the Paramount parks already have a "Drop Zone" ride.
Maybe they can move the stand-up King Cobra coaster over to one of the current Cedar Fair parks :)
I was just joking! But King Cobra's trains and steel track and supports are still on King's Island property.
hell if we're going to dream lets bring back the bat too, put it over at worlds of fun they're in need of more coasters. Why would you theme an amusement park after a BOOK!? Sorry.. i love WOF but come on

It's a maintenance nightmare that Michigan's Adventure does not need.

its not a nightmare... reallly the maitnence on it is very low... mostly all it goes down for is reverse drives, and all you have to do is go out and push the car a little bit and its up again. Really, they could have the ride ops do it... hell i've even done it because I was tired of waiting for maitnence. but they have maitnence do it because its in their union contracts, just like when we had a black out all over the park and we needed out power turned back on, we went in the electrical room and triped it back on instead of waiting for maitnence.. then said "oh we don't know what happened we just magically got power back"
