Delaying our trip (6/29 - 7/02)....from New Jersey

I just read on the official site that Top Thrill is not planned to open before (at least) July 4th :( .....

I might try to get my parents to call Hotel Breakers to see if we can change the date of our stay to say a week after July 4th.

Has anyone here had any luck in changing their dates with a big penalty?

I'm not expecting CP to change it, but I guess it's worth the chance.

Cancellation is $25, but as long as rooms are available, changing reservations is typically done with no fee. I've changed mine before, no problem.

The big question is whether Breakers is sold out for the dates you want to switch to. You can check that by looking at the online reservations tool.

Keep in mind that Cancellation must be made 72 hours in advance too, so if rooms are not available and you cancel now for this weekend, you may be stuck with paying for one night.
