Decorating with Rollercoasters

LuvRaptor's avatar
I posted this on CB but wanted to share it with all my GTTP buds:

My b/f and I were in a Sherman Williams store the other night scoping through their border & wallpaper books when I came across a book that I absolutely FREAKED over. The name of it was "Amusement Parks" and inside it was FULL of borders and matching wallpapers that were coasters/park themed. My b/f saw my excitement, then saw the book and his exact words were "oh crap." He reminded me SEVERAL times that we were done with all the redecorating of the house. So no coaster border or wallpaper for me! I guess I will just have to be content with the CP "shrine" I have on 3 of the 4 walls in the family room (for now anyway!! )
But I did want to get the word out if anyone interested there is definitely coaster border/wallpaper out there. I know for sure Sherman Williams can order it, and am pretty confident one of the larger home decor chains could as well.

Yea I thought Home Depot, Loews or one of those type stores would have it too. I would have no place really to fit border by my computer cause truly the walls are PACKED with CP stuff, oh yea and my "Talon" pennant too. I really did consider redoing my bedroom from the "horse" theme into the coaster thing but was outnumbered. Besides, it was no lie that I had just repainted or redid EVERY room in the house! When I told my kids about finding that border their exact words were "no Mom!" They too freaked thinking for sure I was going to do some room with it. My kids know me all too well.
Hey-I still have the utility room or garage!! HMMMMMMM ;)

Who (as with WalMart) HAS to stay out of Home Depot or Lowe's, go in for 1 thing, come out with $150.00 worth of stuff! Home ownership is a wonderful thing, isnt it? :)

Attention to all my GTTP friends...First and foremost it's Sherwin Williams because I work at the sherwin williams in my hometown...and yes my store does also have the book called "Amusement Park." It's actually pretty neat...and I would love for everyone to go to sherwin williams from now on because home depot is our competitor and our paint is better anyways...Trust me on this one...I'm not saying that because they're our competitor, I'm saying it because it's true...but don't take my word for it...Give our paint a try for yourself...You won't regret it... It's ok to get that name wrong though LuvRaptor, you would be surprised how many people write out checks to our store with the name Sherman Williams in the pay to the order of section... :)

Raptor_Rider-
DOH! I've been corrected, SHERWIN Williams it is!!
Sorry! :)
I can SOO relate too, since even our own customers still call DISCOVER Card, DISCOVERY Card. Yes, that's our trademark "It really pays to DISCOVERY"
Doh! :)

While we're doing blatant advertising, VoiceStream is the best wireless company going. They're new to the Northeast Ohio market, but they're better than AT&T, Cingular, Sprint PCS, Verizon, Alltel, Nextel, etc. etc.

Trust me on this one... I'm not saying that because they're our competitor, I'm saying it because it's true... but don't take my word for it... Give our phones a try for yourself... You won't regret it...

Today's little known fact of little interest -- SHERMAN Williams was a Cowboys' backup running back to Emmitt Smith for four years in the mid-90's.

In long-standing Cowboys tradition (see: Newton, Nate) Sherman was also a big-time marijuana dealer during and after his playing career. As of this writing, I believe that he's in jail in Mobile, Alabama.

I knew about Sherwan Williams. Did you know that Milton Bradley is playing for the Cleveland Indians this year?
Milton Bradley is a legend here in Harrisburg, where he hit the game-winning grand slam to win the Eastern League (AA) for the Senators in 2000. Two outs, bottom of the ninth, bases loaded -- everything that you've ever played out in your backyard wiffle ball games.

Sherwin Williams and VoiceStream both SUCK!!!!! Everyone knows to go to Home Depot or that AT&T and Sprint PCS are the best wireless companies. So do the both of you plan on getting new jobs when your places of employment go out of business soon?:)

Actually, I refuse to go to Home Depot anymore because of horrable customer service. Just because I'm 18 doesn't mean I'm not a customer. So, sivaII, I respectfully decline to share your opinion. :)
Yes sivaII...Why would you want to go and buy your paint and other products in a huge store where you can never find someone to help you...For example, the paint department...I went to home depot one time just for fun to see how long it would take them to serve me...I have heard so many customers complain to me about home depot so I had to check it out for myself..First, I had to wait for someone to help me...no one showed up so I went to lumber(I shouldn't of had to do that) and found someone who paged the whole entire store to get someone to come to paint...I waited another 20 minutes until someone finally showed up who didn't work in that department...I think they worked in the tool department...Well, they didn't know anything about tinting the paint correctly and I asked for a deep red color in a quart and for some reason it was more beige than anything else....I rest my case...Sherwin Williams is all about paint because that's all we do...you get personal attention from people who actually know what they're talking about...I had to go through 1 month of training for God sakes... :) If people buy parts and supplies from places that specialize in that department, then why wouldn't you buy your paint from a place that specializes in paint as well? Just a question to ponder...I'm going to work now...lol
For your information to all people who live in ohio...Sherwin William's headquarters is located in the heart of cleveland...Whenever we need anything for accounts, it goes through cleveland first...That is why Jacob's Field(Home to the cleveland indians for all those who don't know that) has a huge advertisement for Sherwin Williams either on the scoreboard or on one of the walls in the outfield...don't see home depot on it do ya... ;)

Ok enough of the "commercials"...Thank you Luv Raptor for bringing up the fact there is an Amusement Park book of wallpaper, I know we will be using it this summer. Now this topic is closed due to the fact we are suppose to be discussing CEDAR POINT:)
