Hi,

I have been put in charge of planing my College's Spring Term Trip. I am the Treasure of my college's Fraternity and right away mentiond Cedar Point.

Our Dean insists that it must me educational.

My Question is how do I make Cedar Point educational at a college level? Our club is mostly made up of the IT majors.

Thankyou

Normally physics groups can find a way to make CP educational, but as far as IT... there aren't many computer systems at CP you are going to get public access to unless you happen to get a "behind the scenes" tour from someone internally at the park. I really don't have any good answer for you.

I am surprised you called it your FRAT, I am in a FRATERNITY and it struck me as weird that you called it that. Oh well, to each his own.

good luck with your search *** Edited 4/26/2007 1:24:34 PM UTC by Ryan L***

Yeah, I was wondering why a FRAT was doing an educational trip.

FRAT = purchased drinking buddies

FRATERNITY = professional group (that also happen to be drinking buddies).

Yeah, there's a saying regarding abbreviating "fraternity", but it's un-post-able, I'm afraid. :)

^ ha. very true, I was actually thinking about that before I read your post. Its a pretty good saying I think

I just couldent spell it :)

How would I go about getting a behind the sceens tour at CP? If you know could you please PM me?

I would rather use the abrevation that get yeld at for missspelling it.

Try emailing the park. They may be able to point you in the right direction. You can use the Contact Form or I'm pretty sure there's an Info Email that you could use as well.

I got a hold of the right contacts :)

Relate it to marketing. Walk around the park and make mention of different areas of marketing and how different attractions and kiosks related to different demographics, and they all ultimately make revenue for the park.

^ - except that doesn't do much for a bunch of IT majors.

^^ - glad to hear you got ahold of someone.
