Greetings! Okay, I know that I am probably going to hear it for asking this question, but I am going to ask it anyway: What do you think is the worst coaster at Cedar Point? Now granted, in my opinion they are all unique in nature, however I do enjoy some more than others of course. I am going to start the voting with the "Iron Dragon." It just seems to be down a lot and the past two or three times I have been on it, the chain lift cut out in the middle of the ride, leaving me stranded above the lagoon (which we all know can give off a somewhat unpleasant odor at times). I am also not a fan of the swining cars I guess but that's just me! I am curious to hear what the rest of you think on this topic and I hope that I do not get ridiculed for bringing up this unpleasnt topic. I was just wondering......

Blue Streak!!! It's just way to jerky for my liking and I don't like being out of my seat during the whole ride. I know it's a clasic but oh well I hate it.

Jr. Gemini, I did'nt think it was thrilling when I was 7.

Waitaminute backtrack here to Melissa's post...someone doesn't like airtime? Wow. This is the first time I have ever seen this.
A rarity indeed. Strange. *gawks*
What do I think the worst coaster at CP is? Well, I would say Mean Streak but it's so nice-looking. Jr. Gemini doesn't count, it's a kiddie coaster. I love Blue Streak no matter how old it is. Mine Ride is good for what it's supposed to be - a family ride. Mantis is bad, but it has its moments. With those obvious normal bottom-holders out of the picture, I'd say Iron Dragon, because it isn't even thrilling for a suspended coaster.

It's not that I don't like airtime I just don't like a whole lot of it like you get on the Blue Streak. I have a fear that I'm gonna fall out of the car on that ride, that's all.

Just another opportunity for me to list DT.
I've said it once and I'll say it again: Mantis.
Whats wrong with Mantis?

Mantis....MANTIS why say that? That is still one of the great Standups out there and it still gives great thrills! I would have to say get rid of the Blue Streak:)

I'd have to say that I don't like the Mean Streak. I think every coaster at the point meets a particular need. ie (Speed, Family, G's, or lack of G's) The Mean Streak misses it's mark. It shakes you to death and after the breaks you get almost zero air time. The Mantis is a little rough too. The rest of the coaster are great...
Disaster Transport. I'm not a big fan of the bobsled style of coaster, and the "dark ride" aspect isn't really working for it either.
Airtime makes or breaks a lot of coasters for me. Blue Streak is a GREAT ride, although I liked it a lot more before the trains were butchered.

Johnny Allen is rolling in his grave now. (at least I think he's dead) If they never put those dang seat dividers in and new lap bars this ride would be even better (more air than planet Druidia). When I was a Mini Me i feared falling out of the Mine Ride more than the BS with the old saftey system. It is rough though and could be alot better if Cedar Point figured out they need to mantian wooden coasters. Avalanch Run... Ummm I mean "Disaster" Transport luls me to sleep in the dark. The only good thing about the ride is the occasional whiff of AC in the line.

Geauga Lake, Er or Six Fags Sohio or whatever its called now, can go to Japan.
Blue Streak is 10 times better than the Mean Squeak. HANDS DOWN!!! If Cedar Point ever tears down the Blue Streak, that'll be the day I stop going to Cedar Point. I rank the Blue Streak up there as Cedar Point's second coaster legend. (the first being the Cyclone razed in the '40's)
The worst? Gemini. Talk about a dull, dull, dull ride. Disaster Transport, as low as it ranks in my esteem, is still superior to Gemini.
Whats wrong with Mantis?

Hey, it's just my opinion. Nobody is going to agree on these matters. Why Why Blue Streak, Why Gemini, Why anything? I just don't care for Mantis, it does nothing for me. If you like it, good for you! I'll stay off of it and give you a shorter line :)
by farr the worst ride is iron dragon.in second place comes mean streak, and in third place is disater transport.
My vote is for Mean Streak. Me and my family simply avoid it from now on. It's boring and it hurts.
Good point Joe.
As for the worst coaster in my opinion, I gotta go with the Wildcat. Why? I simply don't enjoy those wild-mouse coasters. The idea of sudden drops and stuff is fine, but I get hurt more on that than on Mean Streak. Iron Dragon is a close second.

Majin heero, I am with ya on that one. The WildCast does absolutely nothing for me. The trim brakes everywhere and the randomness of it. Oh well.
