Dance Crew Competition and Carly Rae Jepsen at CP

I'm not sure if anyone else has heard about this, but earlier on the radio on 96.5 Kiss FM (a Cleveland station), there was an advertisement for a contest called the Dance Crew Competition. After video submissions at least five finalist crews will be selected and will get to perform at Cedar Point at 5pm on July 7th. Then Carly Rae Jepsen will perform. I've never heard of anything like this happening before at CP and wondered if they'll use the Luminosity stage for everything. A little while back I remember reading a thread talking about if Cedar Point could support a concert venue. With this upcoming event, I wonder if Celebration Plaza/Luminosity stage will have small concerts and events. This might not even be the location of contest and concert, but it seems the most likely spot.

I would think the new plaza would indeed be the place.

She's a newish singer, at least in the U.S. One of her songs, "Call Me Maybe" had been playing on the radio station I listen to a lot lately.

Call Me Maybe is currently #1 on iTunes so she has become pretty popular.

The Harvard baseball team became famous over the past couple weeks with their video to the song.

Yay I love Carly Rae Jepsen. I hope she makes other songs.
