Damaged track

Has a section anywhere in the world fallen off a flatbed or dropped from a crane & badly damaged? And a replacement section manufactured?

Just curious, how much does an Intamin section cost?

$25 million for TTD & MF seems cheap to me. You would think they'd cost $50m or more!

I'm sure they have, a lot, no you wouldn't.

I remember hearing that Ka had a piece or two replaced after it "ate its self" in the first year of operation. I'm pretty sure Magnum's retrofit of the turn around pretzel after its first season called for some new track too.

Raptor had a piece of track replaced in the cobra roll.
Good luck finding out how much it would cost. Most places won't tell.

Damaged Trains? Didn't the company manufacturing Italian Job: Stunt Track's trains for PKI have a fire that damaged one of the trains?

Last year during preseason they replaced a small part of corkscrew right where it goes over the midway.
