customer appreciation weekend?

So heres my problem...I get a platinum pass for my family every year and this year I planned a trip for some friends during customer appreciation days! So I've been on Cedar Points official website confirming the dates all year and it was posted that the days were Sept.7,8,&9! Then they send out an email stating that they would have appreciation says the weekend prior to those dates for a different price. Now that this weekend is here...the original post that I had seen is gone and they say that it was only jar weekend! Who can I talk to about my ruined!

Called that number already only to give me somebody in customer service. And she wouldn't connect me or give me the number to someone higher!

The email convention at Cedar Point is first initial last name @cedarpoint.com (so if Lady Gaga worked at the park, her email would lgaga@cedarpoint.com); if you know someone at the park who would be able to assist, try sending them an email.

It's usually best to pursue such matters via email, actually, in order to have a "paper" trail.

On two occasions, when I have had issues with a company, I researched the senior executives and sent an email to one of them, with a brief description of my concern and a polite request for assistance in contacting the correct person. In both cases the response was quick and helpful.
