I was at CP on crutches with a broken ankle in 2000. First of all, let me tell you, it's pretty tiring on your arms to crutch around the park all day, but I did make it. The first thing I did is go to Park Ops and picked up a Rider Safety Guide with a special access thing on the back. The way special access works is, to avoid having a handicapped person wait in the actual line (in the queue) of a ride, you go to the ride entrance and give the ride host your Rider Safety Guide. They estimate how long the current wait is and tell you to come back however much longer the wait would be and then you will be put directly on the ride. For example, I only used it once, but when I did use it, I went to MF at 7pm and they estimated a 2 1/2 hour wait, so they had me come back at 9:30pm and then I got directly on it. But that was the only time I used it. As for actually getting on rides and such, I rode most of the coasters and never had a problem with leaving the crutches on the platform. I even rode Mantis, although it may not have been the smartest thing. Like I said, on all the rides except MF, I waited in line with the crutches, which wasn't too bad. Good luck with crutching around CP all day and have fun!
