Crowds

I know in previous years the sunday before memorial day the park is pack at CP. how are the crowds today? I'm looking at the cams ,light crowd in front of the park (Cleveland.com) and light crowds on the bridge. Larry

Larry, I noticed the same thing. Sunday's are typically slow, but I'm surprised at the beginning of the season with a major rollercoaster opening that it appears the park is empty.

Here's why Holiday Sundays are usually packed, generally people only spend one day at a park on a weekend, on a normal weekend that day is Saturday because you can drive up Friday go to bed early and then either drive back Saturday night or Sunday morning.

On holiday weekends you can do that, but you can also do Sat-Mon or all three (and get a bonus day at the park) so that Sunday becomes the overlap day and actually the most crowded. Seriously if you can go on the holiday itself, do it! I have always had great luck going to parks on that day. *** Edited 5/27/2007 8:09:21 PM UTC by Touchdown***
