Crowds?
Hello! I'm sorry to start a new forum topic for this but does anyone know what the crowds will be like for October 13th? I know it's a Sunday but from what I heard, the hours seem to contridict that. Also, should I buy Fast Lane? Thanks!
It's Columbus Day weekend, so it will likely be a little more busier than an average Halloweekend Sunday, but not as bad as Saturday.
10 years ago I would have said, "In Before The Lock", or IBTL.
Seriously though, it will probably be crowded, but not as crowded as the day before.

Saturday Columbus Day weekend has become the single busiest day of the entire year. Sunday the 13th will be the worst Sunday of Halloweekends, because a lot of people have Monday off. This is why they are open to 10pm that night. If you can choose a different weekend, you should.
As for Fast Lane, if the park is even the least bit busy, and you can afford it, the answer is always yes.
have to second what Scott said. Went Columbus Day weekend last year. Saturday was busiest day of the year. Very long lines. Sunday was busy too. With the park being open till 10. The fright zones open on sunday too. I don't think we rode very many rides either day last year during our trip, but we had a good time. Probably a little by choice since we won't get into long lines. I personally won't ever buy the fastlane pass. But then again probably would never go on Columbus Day weekend either.

You answered your own question and didn't realize it. :)
1. Start by checking the Cedar Point operating schedule. If the park closes at 8:00 p.m., it isn't because the midway is jammed with people.
