crossbody bag on rides?

Im going to cedar point tomorrow and just to hold my phone i bought a small flat (no bulk) crossbody bag to hold my phone while on a ride. Its all zippers and im intending to also where my shirt over it so its more like a fanypackand flat up against me. Do you think i will be allowed to wear this on thw rides? I see no reason not. But id like to make sure because i do not want to use bins or lockers.

I feel old. What's a crossbody bag?

Promoter of fog.

It straps around your shoulder then goes across your body and hang at your hip on the opposit side hahaha dont feel old! I just learned about it from my mom on monday!

As long as your lapbar can secure it and you, you'll be good.

If the strap goes over your neck, you might not be able to ride with it if one of the ride hosts sees the bag attached to it.

One of my freinds recently rode MF with one. We asked to operator at the line queue if she may ride with it. The operator said as long as the lapbar secures it, your good.

Don't know what you are talking about with your bag...

But for the longest time, I had a camera bag strapped around my waist with a safety belt diagonally over the opposite shoulder. Cedar Point's ride hosts never gave me any trouble about it, but they did verify with me that the bag was, indeed, secured around my waist and not just dangling from a shoulder strap.

I do wish that all parks were as accommodating as Cedar Point where these sorts of bags are concerned. I've been on rides where it appeared that the seat was *designed* to accommodate my bag, then when the restraint closes, the bag is completely secured in a little niche and totally inaccessible (maXair is an excellent example of this). But for whatever reason, some parks insist that this isn't permitted...

I was surprised to see the Raptor crew allow a woman to ride with her purse. Granted, it was over her opposite shoulder, but the strap didn't instill any confidence from where I was sitting behind her.
