Crazy weather! Please Read!

Ok, maybe this should go in the trip reports, not sure, but I just want to vent. Isn’t this weather crazy? I am getting SO sick of this. This was my weekend: Started off for Put-In-Bay on the boat Friday night. COLD air and very rough water. Boat suffers massive oil leak on the way and we barely make it to Kelley’s. Go to bar. FROZE on the way. Leave bar, FROZE on the way back to the boat. Geese have **** on boat. Cheap marina had no shore power for heater. FROZE on boat. Got towed back the next day. FROZE on the way back. Take ferry boat to Put-In-Bay. FREEZE on island. Go to CP on Sun. Nice weather but cold. Sick of FREEZING all weekend, not motivated to stand outside in the cold in lines. Go home early to watch X-Files. Car suffers broken coolant hose, FREEZE waiting for tow truck. BLEAH!!!! Please bring on SUMMER!!!!

Go Pete! Let me tell you it really sucks to stand outside all day in the cold air. It's even worse when it rains and the water gets in your shoes and you then get icicles on your feet..... Come on motehr nature. Where is the heat? I got a summer job, not a winter job....

Is it true thought that they don't run the trim break on Magnum when its cold? I went on a really cold day last year on October, and the Magnum was great. Does anyone know if they are running the break now?

I rode magnum several times today in the windy coldness. The trim brakes were on and have been during the past few weeks. I'm not sure if it has been turned on or off during certain times on individual days though. On occassion I can hear the brakes from Witches' Wheel but that is on occassion..... very rare occassion when everything is quiet.

You forgot Pete that the most serious problem is that our favorite, uh, "attractions," are mostly covered up in cooler temperatures. ;)

...and that's just horrible! That has happened around my school as well. It's a week until we get out, and the hoochies can't bust out their nice spring/summer clothes. I remember last year it was 70's in April! Where's the heat?

There are some "attractions" better left covered.

Hey CP_bound, the cool weather hasn't kept the "attractions" from being significantly covered at my school. :)

Is it just me, or was it much warmer in February?

It's taken at least a few years of therapy to recover from some bad things seen on warm days. :) I don't think spandex was meant to be holditindex.....

There has been many a time I have seen some very unnecessary things at the point...life scarring things. :)

*shudder* Does everyone know about the so-called "super-low" jeans? Well of course they're supposed to be super-low, not over-flow...

some people just need to know when to wear a long enough shirt, so that when they get in and out of a ride, we dont see half of their butt.  man that was sick.  happened on the mean streak.  something little kids shouldnt see

LMAO at the last posts. There is far too much of that at my school...it's just wrong. :)

Maybe that's why they have height restrictions, to keep the younger kids from seeing? :)

Maybe Mother Nature is getting back at us for that unusually warm weather we had in November....I do agree that the warm weather needs to get here....It's almost June and we're still freezing...Stop punishing us Mother Nature....Give us the warm weather

Remember, fat people have feelings too.

And if they wear things that reveal way more cellulite than I care to see, then those feelings should be hurt. Not only hurt, ripped out and stomped on. Wounded. Impaired. Injured. Obliterated. Annihilated. Devastated.

OK, I'm going for my coffee now.

I was expecting the same, CP_bound.

But yeah... just watch what you say and remember that everything said here is said in good spirits and not to offend anyone.... That's including Mother Nature, who has stopped having hot flashes and is freezing her *** off.
