Cranes leaving?

Do you think that the cranes will be heading out soon since it looks as though all the 50+ foot construction is over.

The cranes will probably stick around for another week because they still have to install the stairs that go next to the top hat. I doubt they can get that up the unfinished elevator.
They could rent a few more cranes to lift the other ones out but that gets kinda tricky moving them all at the same time without dropping it.
They still have to put the elevator up the tower also, they'll probally be around another week or two..
Seems easier to keep them there for the time being. My guess is they've still gotta torque the bolts if they haven't already done so. I'm guessing we'll see one stick around and move outside the oval to assist for the pull through.

They will be needed for the pull-through, too.

Is that a pen?!

I think they should leave the cranes there through the season. Usually after I have already made a few trips around the peninsula and the day is almost over my legs are tired from all the walking and standing. After I get off of Millennium they can just pick me up in that bucket and swing me over to the #16 line at 9:59pm.:)
I wonder how they are going to do a pull though. If there is a break in the track to get the cranes out, will they just try to put a train car on at the tower end of the break and pull it through, or do you think they will get the cranes out, close the gap, and try to do it then?

...Denial is an ugly thing.

How did they do the pull through for Xcellerator?, that may answer some questions. Im going to look on www.twistedrails.com

Will they even do a pull through or just launch that sucka?

I'm sure they'll do a pull-through before ever launching the ride.

I don't remember if Xcelerator had a pull-through or not. I do remember seeing a testing video though. They launched it a few times at low speed to intentionally do a roll-back. Then the 4th or 5th launch was full speed.

Xcelerator did have a pull through, except they used a winch for part of the top hat. I think Twisded Rails had a few pictures. I think it's pretty much standard practice to do a pull through on all rides to check for clearances and assortred track issues.

I figure we'll them disassembling one of the large cranes, moving the other outside the oval, then closing off the track. Then they can still manuver the crane close enough to the top hat to do a pull through. I don't see them using a pulley based on the height of this ride. Anyone else have possible ideas?
