When I worked at CP I would spend alot of nights on the employee beach, which just so happens to be the part of beach directly next to WT. They are CONSTANTLY welding and playing with the LIMS EVERY night. It is very intriguing to watch. If they didn't keep up with that ride it would be just like VERTIGO....GONE. LoL

I'm not sure if the ride is like VertiGo, but launch coasters need a lot of maintenance all the time to keep them running well. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a least two mechanics who are assigned to TTD only to take of all of its problems throughout the night.

In fact Gomez you are right. When I worked on TTD in 2003 and 2004 there are 3 to 5 graveyard shift mechanics every night or so. What really sucked was in the fall when us employes had to load 5 trains with water dummies at the end of the night for testing. Water, Cold temperatures and VERY late hours, didn't mix well when you were up till 1am and had to be back a 8am the same day! But the bonus was nice!

Yeah, it gets old real fast. And I can't say I ever had to load water dummies.

Yeah, a week before I left they went down Maintenance Request because the back spike was swaying really badly. There were maintenance workers there for a while looking at it so im guessing they will be adding more supports.
