crane at the end???

Does anyone know what that crane is doing there? Did they have to fix a part of the ride??? (i'm referring to the webcam)

It's not unusual to see them poking around in that turn. A few days ago, there was a guy walking/working on that section of track.

you know the more I look at that end turn, the more I wonder how fast that part will be....i mean you are almost upsidedown at one point (more than 90 degrees)...

They may be adjusting the barakes. Demon Drops brakes go through sevral cycles beforeit is ready. Magnetic brakes may be diffrent, but that may be the reason.

I didn't think there were any brakes that far back. Besides, looking back at the webcam images (I collect them all day long) the cherry-picker was all over that turn this morning, not just in one spot if they were adjusting brakes.

There are no brakes on the turn itself, only on the long straight section you see on the left.

I would think they would be inspecting the bolts or something and making sure everything is in place before this Saturday.

If anybody's been watching the webcam, they're STILL going all over that last turn today. I tend to agree with somewhatchewy, bolt-inspection most likely.

I am almost 100% sure that they are still working on the queue.

I know for a fact they they are painting the bolts on the Millennium Force right now! I know that, once again, for a FACT. ;-)

Why would the want to paint the bolts, that is a waste of ime and money.

Well aren't the bolts for Mantis's supports painted?

Answer: yes. It makes the ride look better than to have the rusty bolts showing.

Hey, more money for my friend's dad's business -- so I really don't care. Yeah, CP_Genius, it does make the ride look better, although it doesn't look bad now. :-)
