Over the 4th of July did anybody get pics/video of the fireworks? Also does anybody know what company CP uses for fireworks? I thought I read somewhere that they used Zambelli Firework's, but I'm not sure.
Thanks...

I'm pretty sure they still use Zambelli. I got a few pictures, but I've been too lazy to even get them off my camera yet, let alone upload them anywhere.

I did not hear much hype leading into the fireworks this year. Tony and tyler never even mentiond it untill after they were done.
I was thinking of making an afternoon trip out to the park to see them, but after looking at the webcam and seeing the millions of people at the park decided not to.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
CP's 4th of July fireworks have regressed so much over the years, I don't even bother watching them any more. The grand finally inn the 80's was as long as the whole display is now. Definately not worth the time and effort to go over to and back from CP for them any longer.
It's sad.
well i have been hearing that they are doing a back to forth of july on august 22. the park will be open till 1 am again and they will be having another fireworks show at 10 pm. anyone else heard anything?

Finally we figure out whom the lemon chill guy actually is! Maxgirl you must post a pic of him so we can all know him as we now know Single Rider Bob and that other guy.
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.
A print ad in the August 7th Friday! section of The Plain Dealer ("Six Ways Cedar Point Makes August Rock!") mentions a "Summer Blast" weekend 8/21-8/23 with the park staying open until midnight. It also says, "Enjoy fireworks and seven hours of riding fun for only $29.99 with a Starlight ticket!"
While there doesn't seem to be any mention of the extended hours or fireworks on the official site yet, the park appears to be offering fireworks on Saturday, August 22nd.
