CP's 17th Coaster Ideas

Six Flags Magic Mountain is gonna catch CP soon with 16 coasters. I believe they have 15 atm.

Obviously, CP will always build more to regain their title over and over. What do you think will come next?

I have several ideas. My first was a 4th dimensional coaster like X, but Arrow Dynamics went bankrupt and S&S kinda bought out the Arrow name. I doubt they will be willing to make another 4th dim because it was the fate of Arrow because of all the problems they had with it.

I was thinking of a B&M flying coaster, but with a launch system. Hydraulic would be nice, but LIM would work too. Of course it would have to be the tallest and fastest...so CP can keep up tradition.

My third idea is some kind of coaster with a 150 foot loop or something. Some gigantic inversion that you will find nowhere else.

Intamin isn't known for it's inversions like B&M is and I think CP is going to stick with Intamin for eternity, so I have a feeling an Intamin 4th dim coaster may be next.

17 seems like a big number doesn't it?

FYI SFMM has 16 coasters along with CP. Actually I think they hold the record for the most roller coasters cuz I believe that they go buy when they open, and obviously since Scream! opened earlier than TTD they hold the record. Anyway, I want the next coaster to be a B & M flyer,but before that I want a Huss Giant Frisbee. I think that would round out CP perfectly. I think the Giant Frisbee is a more likely to get than the flyer, cuz I've noticed over the years that CP tries to test out rides at the other Cedar Fair parks before they get them, or give the other Cedar Fair parks rides similar to what they get. I.E.--Xcelerator then TTD, Raptor then Talon, Magnum then Steel Force etc. Now that both Knott's and Dorney, the major Cedar Fair parks beneath CP have gotten a frisbee, I think CP will get one, but of course giant size it since they always do things bigger. *** Edited 5/25/2004 9:43:53 PM UTC by MillForce810***

this doesn't really relate to this topic but i would like to see worlds of fun get new big rides not little ones like they have been getting.
