CP: TQoAWP-(the book)

Does anyone know why this book is now out of print?

And where I could possibly pick up a copy?
Maybe it just didn't sell well enough.

You can check eBay auctions searching under "Cedar Point" -- I've seen it there sometimes. Barnes and Noble has an excellent "out of print" search feature, and they do have it on there, but at about 3x the original price. But if you REALLY want it, you can get it there!

I have it, it's well worth the buy for us Cedar Point nuts!

I've seen it quite a few times at the local Borders. Ask them and give Amazon a shot. I can't believe it can't be had new.

Trim brakes-a necessity???
The book is for sale at the CP Marketplace on the CP website. The address is ...... http://www.cedarfair.com/cfstores/showdetl.cfm?&DID=9&User_ID=77411&st=1504&st2=-88604600&st3=-51492938&Product_ID=61&CATID=11 *** This post was edited by CP FANatic on 10/22/2000. ***
They might be working on an updated version of the book...
I can't buy anything on the interntet, and Amazon doesn't have a phone number to order it that way either. *** This post was edited by CP_bound on 10/22/2000. ***
I saw it at Barnes and Nobles just a few weeks ago. Maybe ask at a local store if they can get it.
Yeah, I checked a lot of bookstores, and they said they couldn't get them if they weren't still being produced.
I went to the library and found it

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point.
If you want to buy the book, you might try calling Guenther Hall, Ltd. Nancy Stillwagon keeps on hand a good selection of coaster and amusement park related stuff, including out-of-print books. The flyer I have here is an old one, but it shows the following contact information:
Gunther Hall, Ltd.
P.O. Box 140
Bay Hill Rd.
Alton Bay, NH 03810
603-875-2248
It's an old flyer, so that area code may have changed. But it's worth a try anyway, and she may even have a web site. I have never dealt with the company myself, but every reference I've seen to them on r.r-c has been generally positive.

Good luck!

The Queen of American Water Places is pretty easy to get compared to Fun at the Old Cedar Point. I waited three months to get that book from Amazon.

Remember, line jumping is NOT a sporting event!
How odd... There now is a link on the official site that replaced Halloweekends that says "Marketplace" with the book as the background.
I noticed that too Vince....

An updated version?...possibly?
I only waited about one month to get Fun at the Old Cedar Point, but it's a very good book and worth buying.

A bad day at CP is better than a good day at work.
