CP to PKI PLEASE HELP ME ALL YOU BUCKEYES!!!

OK so I am from New Jersey and I have to go to from CP to PKI, what is the best route? I have heard of construction and all sorts of stuff? Also, I am renting a Mustang for a week, how are the State Police? Can I fly through your towns faster than the Millenium Force or will it be more like the Iron Dragon?

Hey, I'm going directly from Coastermania-CP(at closing) to the Ultimate Rollercoaster event at PKI. I plant to take Rt.4 form Sandusky(South?) to Rt.23 to Columbus. From there I will take I270(outerbelt)East 1 exit, then take I-71 all the way down to PKI. Might not be everyone's favotite route, but I live in Columbus and that's the way I am going.Hope this helps.About the speed thing, I drive within 5MPH over and am not bothered, you wouldn't want to ruin your trip would you?;)

It might be a slightly more direct route to take US-6 West to OH-12 West/South to IR-75 South to IR-275 East to IR-71 North to PKI. I'm not sure about the condition of those roads, though, except that I know that at PKI both IR-71 and IR-275 are under heavy construction.
