Anyways, everyone on this forum gets ragged. Without it, what fun would it be? If you take it personal, here's a tip: Stay Off The Posts, you Wuss!

OK.........back to the subject at hand. How much thought do you think parks put into the placement of new rides. I know space has a lot to do with it but as you look directly down the main midway this ride is going to be in your face. IMO, this is going to be the most gawked at ride to hit the point since Raptor
(Trying to keep calm today).

Poop, the only reason you think I slam everyone is that I slam you on a pretty consistent basis. Why is that? Because your posts might as well say, "Please slam me, please slam me."

..."no one likes me, because I pooped my pants, the smell is horrid." What isn't to slam here?

Now, the reason for my wrath against stupid a$$ho was that he created an entire thread for basically nothing. What did he have to add to the conversation?

"This ride is going to add a whole new dimension to the skyline of the park?" Really? You don't say?

How much thought do I think parks put into placing their rides? None. Nope, none at all. I have been in P&Z. There is a big sattellite image of the park on a wall. They take a dart and toss it at the map. Bingo! There is the new ride location.

Oops, I got my past mixed with my present. P&Z = Planning and Zoning, my bad.
Chief Wahoo, what exactly have you added to the conversatation? Searching the site, I have not seen one post from you that has anything intelligent to say. Before you bash others, just maybe you should take a look at your contributions to this board. I think you will see that there aren't any. Maybe if you got out and socialized some you might find out how people treat each other. I'm assuming you're young, maybe still in high school, or younger. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt because you still have some growing up to do. However, in the future, if you don't have anything to add to the topic, simply don't post. It would be a lot easier for you and would spare the rest of us from having to weed through your useless posts to find something we actually want to read. Hopefully the next time I see a post from you I will actually see that you put some thought into it first.

Hmmm, please hold....putting some thought into it.

....still thinking..........

....still thinking..........

Ok, I think I have got it. While I appreciate the fact that you think I might be young, my wife and child don't think so. I will grant you that I still have growing up to do - or at least I hope so. Wouldn't it be sad if there wasn't anymore to learn?

You will rarely see me post in the evening or on the weekends, when I have a life, but at work I am a multi-tasker (look it up) and can be working on stuff while checking in on the boards. (Thank goodness for DSL).

In a former life, I had a job that provided me intimate information regarding Cedar Point, more so than even Jeff has access to, but I choose not to take advantage of that.

I think this is a terrific site where I can still share my interest in the Point and most people who have been registered on this site for more than 1 day will likely tell you that my contributions, while not awe-inspiring, generally are more than fluff.

Mental note... consider Wahoo for future moderator because he's far more patient than I am when it comes to the banhammer.

I second that, I Think Chief Wahoo would make a Great moderator...plus we need more of them around in these times.

What? Cheif Wahoo isn't a moderator yet?

.... Back on track, CP's skyline has completely changed over the last 10 years. MF and Power Tower both really stuck a huge chunk of steel up into the sky, this new coaster is doing the exact same thing, just a little higher.

One thing aobut MF I find interesting that the new coaster lacks, is the way you can't see most of MF on the ground from most anywhere in the park.

One word, Chief Wahoo: Badass. I am at your comand.

Though I have only seen the park since '98, I have to admit that the skyline shows the futuristic look of what an amusement park may be 10-20 years down the road.

The huge slinder steel monsters popping from the ground with screams and loads of laughter as people enjoy letting their hair down on a warm afternoon.

Guests probably enjoy seeing them from a distance, whether they are coming from Toledo on OH 2 or from Sandusky, it just adds more adrenaline to the cause to make them come...and it helps more than just the park as well.

Long live the coaster skyline =)
